Fuji Agricultural Cooperative
Three plums, three characters — farmers ageing each variety three years.
The Fuji agricultural cooperative, run by Misato farmers, ages its umeshu three years in the traditional way, drawing flavour to the very kernel. Three plum varieties — Ryukyo, Oshuku and Gessekai — are each bottled separately to show their character. The co-op also runs the Misato umeshu festival.
