Kitaoka Honten, founded in 1868 in Yoshino — Japan's most famous cherry-blossom country — carries the three-legged crow Yatagarasu on its label and makes the Yoshino Monogatari line: umeshu with local Yoshino plums, plus whole-fruit yuzu and peach liqueurs on shochu.
