Nakano BC, founded in 1932 in Kainan, Wakayama — the homeland of the Kishu Nanko plum — is a dedicated umeshu maker with a long list of awards. The Kishu line spans a honey umeshu, a green-tea umeshu and the brandy-steeped Fujishiro Muku at 19% ABV.
