Mitsutake Shuzojo of Kashima, Saga, known for the imo shochu Makai e no Izanai ("Invitation to the Demon World"), makes Iyashi no Umeshu, a cloudy umeshu that won silver in the nigori division of the 2024 National Umeshu Awards.
