Gekkeikan
Fushimi's 1637 institution, easing sake drinkers into fruit with Horodoke.
Gekkeikan, founded in 1637 in Fushimi, extends its sake into a fruit liqueur line: sake-based umeshu and yuzushu, and the low-alcohol Horodoke series — peach at 3% and strawberry at 3.5% ABV with Japanese fruit juice. The Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum welcomes visitors.
