Snowdrop — an Aizu collaboration of local yogurt, local rice and sake.
Akebono Shuzo, founded in 1904 in Aizubange, makes the sake-based yogurt liqueur Snowdrop with Aizu Chuo Dairy — Aizu raw-milk yogurt and Mizuho Kogane rice grown in Aizubange. Gentle at 5% ABV, it is a favourite with newcomers to sake.
