Momokawa
One of Aomori's flagship breweries, turning local apples and cassis into liqueur.
Momokawa, founded in 1889 in Oirase, is one of Aomori's leading sake houses. Its apple liqueur Ringo ni Koishita Osake, made with Aomori apples, has won the A-1 Grand Prix and the chairman's prize at the Aomori Furusato Food Contest; an Aomori cassis liqueur made from 100% local cassis, free of flavourings and colourings, completes the line.
