Descendants of the castle-builder Dokan, pouring sake, wine and liqueur.
Ota Shuzo of Kusatsu, Shiga, traces its line to Ota Dokan, builder of Edo Castle. Alongside its sake Dokan it makes wine and brandy from 100% Japanese grapes and a range of fruit liqueurs.
