Niizawa Jozo, founded in 1873 and the house behind Hakurakusei and Atagonomatsu, blends 100% Jersey-milk yogurt with sake for its Cho-Noko ("ultra-rich") Yogurt Liqueur — a Japan Food Selection gold winner, unpasteurised and kept refrigerated. Strawberry and Zao-highland versions extend the line.
