Nakano Shuzo
The Kunizakari brewers of Handa, pressing real fruit into more than ten additive-free liqueurs.
Nakano Shuzo, founded in 1844 on the Chita Peninsula, brews the local sake Kunizakari and makes the Fruria line of high-juice fruit liqueurs — more than ten kinds including mikan orange (80% juice), peach, strawberry, grape and apple, all made without added flavourings or acidifiers. Its sake culture museum, Kunizakari Sake no Bunkakan, is open to visitors.
